TripSaver^TM Segmented Plug

The TripSaver™ Segmented Plug from Canadian Casing Accessories is a specialized solution designed to streamline monobore completions by eliminating the need for a separate trip to mill out the Surface Casing Cement Displacement Plug & Float. Traditional methods often result in the directional drilling assembly drilling through the plug, leading to complications like speared plugs, loss of drilling fluids, and poor returns.

The TripSaver™ Plug is engineered to release all of its fins when the small OD bit drills through the core, preventing such issues. Its unique segmented design requires operators to follow specific procedures, including bumping and pressure testing before checking the floats.

The lightweight plug components are easily circulated back to the surface, and their distinctive color coding allows for easy identification at the shaker. This innovative plug is a game-changer in reducing rig time and enhancing operational efficiency.

FloorLauncher^TM

The CCAI FloorLauncher™ is run on the rig floor directly below the standard length cement head. Contained in the FloorLauncher™ Housing are flow Thru Single, Double, or Triple Length Plugs that are launched when the Top (Displacement) Plug is released from the standard cement head. It latches and seals into the FloorLauncher™ plug and shears it away from the Housing, pumping up to a 4 wiper plug down the casing string.

This system allows you to utilize dual or triple extended length wiper plugs to help better wipe the casing, and aide in preventing cement stringers while not requiring the need to source extended length cement heads for your operations. Once the cement job is complete, the sub is simply removed from the casing string to be reloaded for future operations.

CasingExpress^TM Plug System

The Casing Express™ System works just like a standard Buoyancy system, but it has the addition of a Plug wiper installed on the bottom side of the tool. This allows you to effectively park a brand-new plug wiper anywhere in the string and allow you to pick-it up as the top wiper plug approaches.

The Top wiper plug latches and shears the Express™ wiper away from the housing and now you have a new lead wiper in the system to provide better and additional wiping to your plug system to prevent cement stringers as you reach TD. CCAI has a wide range of customizable options with varied ranges of shear pressures and and burst disk pressures to work with all your operations.
